deadline for the first cut is on Friday.
its ready! woo!
first 31 second animated with only one change needed, a opening sequence and the rest in animatic form ready for Friday.
next:
final sound recording and animating
Room has been booked solid for this week to make sure we get the first scene animated to a good standard, booked - everyday till midnight
Filmed: a possible title sequence, opening shot of her sitting there, boat appearing, close up of her putting on a scarf, him speaking to her
Problems:
main one: computer refused to work
model tie downs - still an issue
first take of her opening shot - the hand wouldn’t stay close to her head (wanted her to rest on it) so we decided to remake and change to have her only look at her watch and eyes move.
hand falling off of the make character (lol)
boat rocking - ended up using a ruler and blue tack when it was stationary
getting his leg to bend (with very very strong magnets determined to keep him pined down) - made a fake foot and manipulated the cloak to look like his leg was moving
Good things:
the scarf work surprisingly well - simply made of a folded a sworn material with a little bit of metal wire through the middle
Sticker for the crate
Book cover

tarted of good - first set completely finished and a possible opening scene has been filmed we then found out….
after that annoying 2nd years have booked the room and no one told them not to, so we know have a week to only animate…. and to top it of, the computer stopped working so we now cant film for a while
A quick test using the rough moth shapes i made (Claire)
